Angelenos just don't seem to get Cuban food the same way Miami does, especially if we're talking about upscale Cuban. Norman's, the LA outpost on Sunset of the popular Miami restaurant is saying "adios" to LA. The last night of dinner service is Nov 11th, with just two more of their deservedly popular friday night pig and paella dinner services to go. As another oasis of fine dining among the, um, how shall we put it?, less-than-fine dining of the Saddle Ranch and the House of Blues bites the proverbial dust, we have to wonder how New York's BLT Steak will fare on the Strip when it opens in the former Le Dome space.
