If Variety's inscrutable language leaves you slightly baffled, allow us to translate: While CAA and ICM are shaking up the world of power lunches with a new nexus centered in Century City, the William Morris Agency isn't moving further than two blocks from its current location in Beverly Hills. The agency plans to move to the newly-constructed 201,000 sq ft building on Beverly Drive, north of Wilshire in early 2009. While WMA will be leasing the new building, it plans to hold on to the buildings its currently housed in, as well as a third it owns, to be leased out as office space. At least the Grill on the Alley is assured a couple more years of corporate expense account largesse from one of its better customers.
