Soon you (some of you anyway) can own a piece of Modernist L.A. architectural history. According to le blog exuberance, Pierre Koenig’s Case Study House #21 will go on sale December 3 at Wright Auctions in Chicago. The Hollywood Hills (9028 Wonderland Park Ave., Los Angeles, if you want to take a peek yourself) house was constructed in 1958 and embodies much of what is the quintessential L.A. Modern. Though being sold at an auction, the house is expected to sell between $2.5-$3.5 million. We won’t be bidding, but we hope that one of our lovely readers does.
