Jim Bursch of West L.A. Online attended the public hearing to find out what the Feds have planned for the VA Campus in West Los Angeles. Its not as bad as he, and others, feared.
The number one priority is that which best serves veterans, which is as it should be.We saw a process that was trying to be as open and accommodating to different views as is practicable.
Based on what we saw, the most intensive development option was not too bad, and the less intensive options were, well, less intensive.
He also links to the report from Congressman Henry Waxman regarding the campus. Read if interested - it's 129 pages - and let us know what it says.
