You Don't Look A Day Over 200

This weekend is Los Angeles's 224th birthday. Councilman Labonge's Weekly Newsletter reminds us that we can celebrate by walking 9 miles.

Every year, a group of spirited people celebrate the founding of Los
Angeles in 1781 by walking nine miles from Mission San Gabriel to the El
Pueblo de La Reina de Los Angeles (Olvera Street) along the route of the

original Spanish settlers, known as Los Pobladores. Walk in LA? I don't think so. We'll be celebrating by driving the nine miles from Los Feliz to Boyle Heights to get a Manuel's Special from El Tepeyac. Happy Birthday City of Angels.
