Gilmore Associates replies to the email from a concerned newdowntowner about late night work and clouds of what appeared to be toxic dust flowing out of the building.
I read your email about the late night construction in the Rowan and have been notified by the construction company that what you witnessed was the interior pressure washing of the building. Anything that looked like clouds of dust or toxic fumes was really just water vapor from the pressure washers. However, if you are woken up again by an unreasonable amount of
construction noise coming from the Rowan or the El Dorado at late
hours, please email me.-David Poffenberger

Water vapor. Got it? It was just water vapor. Now let Tom Gilmore get back to revitalizing downtown.
