One of those aggrieved UCLA Bruins writes in taking issue with our post yesterday touting the development of luxury housing near the USC campus:
"Saw the story about housing near U$C, and to answer your rhetorical question, yes UCLA's been doing much more than getting slaughtered in football games. In fact, when it comes to student housing, the university is going crazier than the Trojan offense. They've just completed 2 huge new towers in Northwest campus." The new student housing, designed in a quality dormitory architecture style (above), will provide 1,350 "bedspaces" to third and fourth year UCLA students. Our Bruin friend concludes: Oh, and a remodel plan is supposed to be revealed for Pauley Pavilion soon.
