2015 will be another huge development year for Downtown Los Angeles, with a slew of projects under construction or in the pipeline—now, from Kelvin Cheng, comes this rough look at what Downtown's skyline will look at the end of all that building, in the not-so-distant future. The visualization shows the view from the southwest and highlights two of Downtown's hugest projects, the Wilshire Grand mixed-use hotel tower and the sprawling Metropolis mixed-use megaproject. The tallest of them all, the 73-story Wilshire Grand, already has a rapidly rising concrete core and steel infrastructure peeking above ground level; meanwhile, construction crews at Metropolis are busy prepping the site and installing cranes. (The visualization does not include a few notable projects that are out of view or stalled, such as Park Fifth by Pershing Square). Down below you'll find a map guide to all the buildings on the visualization.
