Downtown, the LAPD is ramping up the old-timey charm for the upcoming holiday season by riding horses on a crusade against people sitting or standing around. Frankly, those horses are setting a pretty bad example. Look at that one in the back just standing around. According to a local NBC reporter, this is part of a pre-holiday safety campaign, presumably to prevent hapless DTLA holiday shoppers from tripping over anyone. Now they'll just have to worry about stepping in horse poop.
