At the behest of residents, the Burbank Planning Board is conducting a survey of opinions on new anti-mansionization rules that would limit the size of single-family homes in the city. "Residents urged the board to consider reducing the maximum square footage that can be built on a lot, which is now 40 percent and 45 percent, depending on the lot's size." Based on the survey results, the board could do nothing, make small changes to existing rules, or rewrite them completely. [Burbank Leader]
