Sometimes it seems like Holmby Hills and Bel Air are just packed with women of a certain age and their fabulous Paul Williams-designed houses (maybe because they kind of are?). This 1939 Williams on Delfern belongs to actress and singer Connie Stevens, who's probably best known for the TV show Hawaiian Eye and for being singer Eddie Fisher's third wife (Joely Fisher and Tricia Leigh Fisher are her daughters). (We've always been fond of her on The Muppet Show though.) According to the National Enquirer, Stevens has been off-loading houses like crazy lately, short selling in Beverly Hills, losing a Wyoming cabin to foreclosure, and selling in Manhattan, but she apparently still has places in Las Vegas and Palm Springs, in addition to this spread in Holmby.
The main house has "a 2 story entry with a grand sweeping circular staircase, formal living room, a library/study, a large formal dining room, and large open family room, With seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, including a 2 bedroom maids' quarters, a third floor gym and a wine cellar on the lower level"; there are also two one-bedroom guesthouses, a chauffeur's apartment, "a separate Recording studio and an on line studio, a Pool house," a north/south tennis court, a pool, fountains, gazebo spa, "and an exquisite rose garden." All on nearly two acres. Asking price is $17.999 million.
