California Democrats can't eliminate local redevelopment agency's, as Governor Brown wants, without Republican support, so they're going ahead with a plan to "pressure the agencies to part with the money voluntarily." But how about this provision made by Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez of LA--"It allows the Community Redevelopment Agency of Los Angeles to receive redevelopment revenues beyond a court-ordered cap that the city has already hit."
