Renzo Piano's Lynda and Stewart Resnick Exhibition Pavilion is getting all tarted up to match its big brother, the Broad Contemporary, next door. A September Unframed post tells us the air ducts are "covered in a red fiberglass shell, matching the red of BCAM’s escalator, the BP Grand Entrance, and the Kendall Concourse running between the two buildings." And today LACMA announced what'll open in the space come October: "Eye for the Sensual: Selections From the Resnick Collection," with 125 European works from the pavilion's namesakes; "Fashioning Fashion: European Dress in Detail, 1700-1915"; and "Olmec: Masterworks of Ancient Mexico." There will also be a September 25 gala to welcome Baby Piano into the world.
