Remember that city moratorium banning the opening of new medical marijuana dispensaries? It seems a Superior Court judge found the ban is invalid and according to the LA Times, "the city failed to follow state law when it extended its initial moratorium." The judge also granted a preliminary injunction against enforcement of the ban for Green Oasis (which sued the city), allowing other dispensaries to join the lawsuit against the city or file their own. In the meantime, the City Council has been working for the last two years on a more permanent ban to replace the temporary one.
