To be fair, Anna Kelner's piece in the Huffington Post has good intentions and solid points, the biggest one being that a completion of the Wilshire subway would be good for LA. But the Columbia student references NYC and the magical experience of riding the rails there ("I observed a group of flamboyant black men perform complex dance moves"), insinuates the Watts Towers are Downtown, and disses the Westside, saying the Eastside feels like a "real city." And, oh yeah, we "less vibrant" Angelenos love our "backyards." [Huffington Post]
