After some construction delays, developer SECK Group has announced pricing for its 80-unit 655 Hope project, a conversion of a downtown office building. An email blast went out over the weekend to prospective buyers. Here you go: Units will range from $349,000 for a one-bedroom, one-bath, 700 square foot unit to $920,000 for a 1,300 square foot unit. "We have a lot of units in the $400,000 and $500,000 range," Nina Kubicek, sales agent at 655 Hope, tells us. "There are also five townhomes available in the $600,000 range." According to Kubicek, the building is completely finished, except for the gym floor, and ready for touring, but the units aren't on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), nor is she sure they will ever be. Meanwhile, we have heard good things about the units' ceiling heights, although the inoperative windows still are a bummer. Who is 655 Hope going to compete with in terms of buyers? Concerto, Evo (which is continuing its sale with units priced from $385,000 and up), and resales. UPDATE: Monthly homeowners association (HOA) fees are expected to be between $600-$800 according to Kubicek.
