Not sure if all the NIMBYs have died or moved away, but Beverly Hills is expecting civilized debate on its just released draft General Plan (the first update to the General Plan in 30 years), that calls for "the adaptive reuse of old buildings, infill on underutilized properties, or intensification with larger structures to accommodate expected growth forecast over the next 30 years." The new General Plan will also up floor area ratios from 2 to 1 to 5 to 1 in some key areas, including the area around Wilshire and La Cienega, future home to a Purple Line stop (maybe).
