Attempted Arborcide in Manhattan Beach
Thursday, July 3, 2008, by jwilliams

2008-07-arborcide_sm.jpg Come on, people. The proper way to deal with these things is through long, drawn out legal battles. Leave the trees be. "Five trees in a resident’s backyard in the 1600 block of 1st Street were in critical condition last Monday after an unknown assailant drilled holes in their trunks. While the homeowner said she suspected the attempted murder was carried out by an irate neighbor(s) who complained the tree roots were ruining their swimming pool, a sap is still at large."
