Iconic Times Buildings Could Be Sold
Wednesday, June 25, 2008, by Dakota

2008.06.times.jpg "Tribune Co. is putting two of its most historic properties -- the Los Angeles Times headquarters downtown and Tribune Tower in Chicago -- on the block. The company said it had sent a request for proposals to "several of the country's leading real-estate firms," seeking to maximize the value of the sites, which are the home bases of The Times and of Tribune, respectively." The proposal looks to be part of Tribune Co. owner Sam Zell's plan to raise money for the ailing media company. Via flickr user omar omar [LA Times]
