Weekend Open House: Pondering the $200,000 Rift
Saturday, May 10, 2008, by Dakota

Yesterday, for a post about rents (that ultimately never ran), Curbed talked to Venice-based real estate agent Jennifer Hughes of Bulldog Realty. Hughes believes there's pretty much a $200,000 stand-off happening in Venice. Buyers want prices to come down about $200,000 right now, and if that happened, she believes inventory would start moving again. Is that the magic number? Something to think about when you're out looking at these Venice homes this weekend.
