New To Market: Nichols Canyon Buff & Hensman
Tuesday, May 13, 2008, by Marissa Gluck
This Hollywood Hills post and beam house designed by midcentury firm Buff & Hensman just hit the MLS. Listed as the "Ajioka house" (although we couldn't find any references to it online or in the Buff & Hensman book), the place is on a private gated drive at 2563 Nichols Canyon Rd and was built in 1960. The house features "Viking kitchen, master with sitting room, dramatic 2 story living room with floating staircase. Dining room with outdoor loggia & waterfall, media room, wine cellar, gym and workshop." And it turns out that wine cellar is actually full of wine! Not just a gin-soaked panic room for the paranoid. Listing price: $2.6 million.
· 2563 Nichols Canyon Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90046 [MLS]
