Curbed Poll: Which Trees Should LA Live Plant?
Tuesday, May 13, 2008, by Marissa Gluck

While the tree carnage in Santa Monica continues unabated, across town there's another tree debate brewing. In front of the ESPN building in LA Live, construction workers are getting ready to plant a double row on trees. What should go in there? The members of the SkyscraperPage and Skyscraper City forums have put their photoshop skills to good use to argue over which leafy species should provide some shade (their lettuce-looking option is listed second in the poll). But how about ficus? Pink tabebuia? Got a write-in candidate? Leave it in the comments. [First two images via SSP and SSC.]
