Curbed Inside: Venice's Dogtown Station
Tuesday, May 20, 2008, by Dakota

And it's open for business: Dogtown Station, a 35-unit, two-story building offering "lofts" and "flats" on Main Street is nearing completion and offering tours. Sure, there are no amenities, the interiors are sparse looking, and that sad bathroom tub is way too small, but this project is all about location: The beach is a stroll away and Abbot Kinney Blvd is around the corner. But at least one member on my tour fretted about having to see--and quite possibly hear--the bus yards across the street (shot in the gallery; the view is from the small balcony). The unit pictured in the gallery is a 1,844 square foot (inside and outside square footage) one-level loft listed at $1.17 million.
