Construction Watch: Weho's Habitat on Formosa
Friday, May 30, 2008, by Marissa Gluck

We swung by the latest in developer Richard Loring's Habitat empire to see how construction is coming along for the Habitat on Formosa condos. The 11- unit condominium project was originally scheduled to be completed this month, but we're guessing there's at least a month or two of construction left to do. A chat with the construction manager revealed all of the condos are two stories, and approximately 1,400 square feet, with the exception of the southwestern-most unit, which is four stories. The red and orange cladding is corrugated sheet metal; beneath it will be redwood paneling on the exterior. No word yet on pricing, but this building, like Habitat on the Park, will also feature an itty-bitty pocket park on the south side.
