Building Spotter: Venice Construction at 4th And Rose

A reader wants to know if this building rising at 4th and Rose is related to that other building on 5th Street, the one that was ordered to be torn down. Refresher: The owner of the 5th street building, Mark Baez was busted by Building & Safety for building the structure four-feet higher than it was supposed to be and told to tear the building down. Last we heard Baez and the city were headed to court. Our reader writes: "I wonder if its the same guy and if this new building is his f-you to the city???" Is it?
