Developer KOR Group takes an interesting tack at unloading Barker Block lofts, their big development in downtown's Arts District. While their model is pretty standard for downtown advertising—handsome, thirty-something, arty—their message isn't, focusing more on urban pioneering and less on rooftop pools. "THIS IS MY BLOCK... PRIDE. OWNERSHIP. COMMUNITY... Join the movement." Is the ad a simple attempt to sell condos through nabe love or a cheap shot at unloading units through a glamorized portrayal of white gentrification? Discuss.
