Primo Cucina Headed to Downtown's Barker Block

In January, KOR executives talked about the small grocery market scheduled for Barker Block, the loft development in the Arts District, and while they wouldn't say what he market was, they did reference Dean & Deluca, the New York-based outfit. Signage is now up for the forthcoming Primo Cucina, described as a "full gourmet market, restaurant & bar." The division of the market/restaurant/bar remains to be seen, but a KOR press release is expected shortly. And downtowners, rejoice that you can get some tasty, upscale food stuffs like real olive oil (guessing that's an example of what they'll sell). Look for more coverage of the restaurant/bar portion on Eater LA.
