Thai Hot Dog/Insurance Stand Shuttered

The Thai Town Express, aka Thai Hot Dog stand, at the corner of Western and Hollywood has been shuttered with no hint of what ethnic eatery (more Thai? Armenian? Korean? fusion?) will take its place. We vaguely remember noticing a sign on the stand a few weeks ago that may have indicated the Thai restaurant was relocating somewhere down the street. We eagerly await the reopening or eventual demolition of the neighborhood landmark.
