Dan, that strapping 7-foot bronze statue that was recently lifted from his home in a Carthay Circle park/median, has been found by the po-po, reports the LATimes. Two mystery bandits have been arrested and we believe they had the good sense to not melt Mr. Dan. We should know more soon... UPDATE: Terrible news. The Times reports that Dan the Statue has been cut in two and was found at a local scrapyard. The suspects are apparently behind other statue thefts in Beverly Hills.
