A reader recently noticed the interior gutting of Westwood's Mann National Theater, and today we receive photographic proof of the demolition, or at least images of scaffolding, and a peek under the tarp. As previously reported, the city's Cultural Heritage Commission denied Historic Monument status for the theater, dooming it to a date with the wrecking ball. What'll replace it: Some sort of fancy LEED-certified glass retail building w/parking.
