Smoking! Silver Lake Car Fire Wakes Up The Hood

Curbed witnessed a hectic scene Sunday morning when a Mercedes went up in flames on Silverwood Terrace, off Berkeley Ave. Witnesses told police that three young men fled the Mercedes when it started smoking, leading neighbors to wonder if it was a stolen car. And puzzling: we heard one witness say it looked like one of the fleeing men was carrying art supplies. Hipster firestarter? At least one home (arrow points to it) was damaged in the inferno.
