MOJO, the San Pedro Robotic Arm, Swings Alone

Now, we continue on our magical journey through the Pedro... During our pedestrian wanderings of Old Town we stumbled upon MOJO - the robotic arm/ art installation that follows passers-by with a spot light. The last we had heard, the arm was broken and was awaiting repairs by technicians from Germany. But the arm was swinging when we stopped by and shot this footage. For some reason we imagined there would be children holding hands singing and dancing around the lovable robot arm, but instead the poor thing sat silently, swinging to and fro every so often. It was actually kind of sad. MOJO needs love.
