"Limey," says blogger BLDGBLOG, getting some snaps of Lorcan O'Herlihy's Habitat 825, a condo project on Kings Road in West Hollywood. As we noted recently, the project didn't entirely win over Times architecture critic Christopher Hawthorne, but, hey, there's always blogger love: "I love this building! O'Herlihy's use of volume and color just knocks me out," writes BLDGBLOG. Click on link below for more pics.

I'm not sure if I love to hate Lorcan or hate to love him. His work it usually great, but every now and then he does something that really bothers me. I like this project, but I feel that it competes with the Schindler house.
A few years ago he designed a remodel for a Neutra on Bel Air Rd. that really pissed me off. He added an appalling box to the FRONT of this Neutra house.
