Curbed LA PriceSpotter Big Reveal
Friday, November 17, 2006, by Cary

Yesterday we asked you to wager a guess on an asking price for this 2BR 2BA loft in the downtown/Staples Center/LA Live area. Today we give you the answer you've been longing to hear.

Asking Price: $699,000
Listing: 330 W. 11th St. #409 [Zip Realty]

Indeed this unit is in the Grand Avenue Lofts, and most seemed to agree that it is a pricey venture to look into other peoples' windows. Dan Parker is the winner with an exact guess. Maybe he got a little MLS help, or maybe he just knows his stuff. It's all fun when it comes to overpriced lofts in LA.

Thanks for playing. See you in two weeks for our next game.

Oh, I thought Adam was the winner, cus he guessed 700, but I think he looked it up too.

Its sad, $699K actually seems like a bargain although its so far out of my budget its not even funny. In fact today I spoke to someone moving to Texas who bought a 2800 square foot home for $175K.

Where in Texas is that, Anon? I can't imagine finding a 2800sqft house for that price in Dallas, Austin, or their respective interior suburbs.

Downtown L.A.: Not Manhattan. No matter how hard they try.

Never mind the price - anybody notice the HOA dues on this cinderblock special? $529 a month!!!!!!!! Something is rotten here.
