Chess Park, Glendale
Yesterday we saw the Los Angeles Business Council bestow honors on 19 local architectural projects. Today, the oft-forgotten sibling of landscape architecture hands out their awards. The American Society of Landscape Architects has named the winners of their 2006 Professional Awards. In the General Design category, Rios Clementi Hale Studios won for their Chess Park in Glendale. We also clean up in the residential design category, with local firm Marmol Radziner and Associates taking home two prizes, for the Glencoe and Horizon residences in Venice.
