Actress—and now consumer goods maven—Jessica Alba has reportedly found herself a new residence in a celebrity-filled community within the 90210 zip code. Yolanda’s Little Black Book reports that Alba purchased the seven-bedroom home from Black Swan producer Mike Medavoy.
Located on a private and gated street in Beverly Glen, the nearly 9,000-square-foot property is situated on a 1.85-acre lot with an expansive yard, outdoor patio, swimming pool, and spa. Perched on a hillside and surrounded by trees on all sides, the home also appears to be relatively paparazzi-proof.
The house was built in 2005 and has a traditional, vaguely East Coast-y style. (Per Yolanda, it’s located right next door to restauranteur/reality star Lisa Vanderpump’s residence.)
Features of the home include a spacious kitchen and dining room, master bedroom with a fireplace and balcony, and voluminous master bathroom with a double shower and separate bathtub. There’s also a fitness room and two-story guesthouse that includes a three-car garage.
Alba paid $9.948 million for the property—just about $1 million under its asking price. The house last sold in 2011 for $6.425 million, so it seems Mr. Medavoy turned a nice profit on the purchase.
Alba still owns a few other LA-area properties, including this one, which recently made an appearance in Better Homes and Gardens.
