Last we saw this adorable Studio City modern once occupied by silver screen star and total heartthrob Rock Hudson, it was back in 2012, when the house was on the market for just shy of $650,000. It sold later that year for $640,000.
It's not clear whether the secluded post and beam was owned or rented by Hudson from 1951 to 1955, though he was photographed there for an old Architectural Digest feature.
Now, it's brightly furnished and back on the market for $1.095 million, reports Variety. At slightly more than 1,000 square feet, the one-bedroom, one-bathroom house is nestled into a 14,000-square-foot, tree-filled lot. That plus the long, climbing driveway and the "hike" from the carport to the actual front door that gives the house a very private and hidden-away feeling.
The residence's walls of glass offer up views of the canyon and the grounds, which include a pool and "multiple outdoor 'living rooms'" by an unnamed but "noted" local landscape designer, the listing says.
