Last night, the Design Review Committee of the West Hollywood Planning Commission signed off on new designs for Sunset Time, the very-long-gestating Sunset Strip project that will replace the House of Blues. Now all it needs is building and safety approval before construction can begin, reports Wehoville (it was originally approved way back in 2010).
Designed by Ehrlich Architects, the project is made up of an eight-story hotel (to be a Pendry) with 149 rooms and a five-story condo building with 45 units. The hotel will also have retail, restaurants, and oh yes, a 6,000-square-foot digital sign on its side.
