An elegant six-bedroom, six-bathroom Malibu house built in 1991 has just hit the market for $4.595 million. Not only does the Mediterranean house boast almost 7,500 square feet of space and "striking views of Calimogos Ranch, Celio Farms and Rocky Oaks wineries," it's also a piece of history. This is the home Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee proudly played docent for in a classic 2000 episode of MTV Cribs.
A lot has changed since Lee and Pamela Anderson lived here with the kids (the Cribs ep was filmed a couple years after their divorce). Gone are some of the vintage amenities from the "Tommyland" days, like the yellow fur-lined room, shark tank in the kitchen, purple velvet home theater, and basement disco (Club Mayhem). From the looks of the listing photos, the wall between the master bedroom (where the magic happens) and bathroom that Lee removed so he could see the giant see-through shower from his canopy bed has been restored. The sex swing appears to have been removed entirely. But some things have survived, including the monstrous closets, fireplace in the master bedroom, expansive pool area, and tiled patios.
